john wilson

John Wilson has extensive experience managing substantial capital markets businesses for leading firms in Europe and Asia; specifically with UBS, Lehman Brothers and the London Stock Exchange. Prior to joining the financial industry in the mid 1980s, he was a management consultant. John has also started and subsequently sold a consulting business as well as holding various Board level positions. He holds a 1st Class Honours degree in Engineering from The University of Surrey and Master's and Doctorate degrees in Engineering from Clare College, Cambridge University.

Peter Sugarman

Peter Sugarman is Chief Operating Officer and a partner at JRJ Group. Prior to JRJ Group Peter was with Lehman Brothers from 2001-2008 where he was European, then Global Head of the Strategic Transactions Group and then Managing Director of the Insurance Advisory group. From 1998-2001 he was co-head of European structured finance at Rabobank. Peter started his career at JP Morgan in 1982 where he worked in a variety of corporate finance and capital markets roles. Peter has an MA from Cambridge University where he studied History and Law.

Roger Nagioff

Roger Nagioff is a Founding Partner of JRJ Group. Prior to the establishment of JRJ Group, Roger held the position of Global Head of Fixed Income at Lehman Brothers, from 2007 to early 2008. Previous to that role, Roger served as Chief Operating Officer Europe, from 2004 to 2007. Roger joined Lehman Brothers in 1997 as Head of Equity Trading Europe, before being appointed Head of European Equities, in 1999, and Co-Head of Global Equities, in 2000. Before arriving at Lehman, Roger was responsible for risk management of several divisions, including European Equities, at NatWest Markets, which he joined in 1989.

Andrew Bud

Andrew Bud serves on the boards of several technology-based organisations, and chairs MEF, the global trade association of the mobile content and commerce industry. In 1999 he founded mBlox, now the world’s largest provider of SMS transmission for enterprise applications. As CEO and then as Executive Chairman of mBlox he oversaw the growth of revenues above $100m. Since 2011 he has been CEO of iProov, a company he founded to provide personal identity management to the global market. He has a first class degree in Engineering from Christ’s College, Cambridge, and is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.

Claire Hafner

Claire joined Fintrax in July 2016 from her most recent role as CFO and Board Director of Vocalink, the UK payment systems company, where she worked for six years. Prior to that Claire worked for the law firm, Eversheds, as Finance Director for four years, and has also held senior finance positions at Barclays and BT. Claire previously worked for Guinness, Euro Disney and Ernst & Young. Claire sits on several Board, Risk and Audit Committees.

Mark Preston

Mr. Mark Preston, BA, ACIB is Non-Executive Director of West Bromwich Building Society. Mark has been involved in financial markets for over 30 years, including the roles of Chief Executive Officer for the Products and Markets Division of Lloyds TSB and Co-Head of the Bank’s Corporate Market division and CEO of CIBC World Markets plc. Mark chairs the Risk Committee and is a member of the Audit and compliance committee.
